About Yono's
For nearly four decades, Yono's has been Albany's premiere World Class restaurant, twice earning a spot among the nation's Top 100. Now, under second-generation restaurateur Dominick Purnomo, our intimate, elegant dining room has been exquisitely renovated. Step into a space of modern sophistication, where neutral colors, bronzed mirrors, a grand fireplace, and a sparkling crystal chandelier create refined comfort. Our innovative menu artfully blends French technique, Asian influences, and American ingredients, a culinary homage to founding Chef Yono Purnomo. Complementing this, Managing Partner and Sommelier Josh Turo curates a world-class wine list with nearly 1,000 labels from every major global wine region.

DEEPLY DISAPPOINTING. I am not going to rate the food because the only thing we ate in the 2 hours plus in this restaurant was a cheese board and some wine. We came here last night to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. The restaurant obviously couldn't handle the crowd as we sat there for 40 minutes before they even took our order. After 2 hours of waiting and not seeing much food coming out of the kitchen I inquired if they had any clue when our food would be out. The waiter could not answer and said that there were people in the front waiting over 2 hours. I respectfully apologized and asked for the check for what we had consumed already and decided to take my chances at another restaurant. Luckily the bar across the street was able to make some quick burgers for us as it was already 9:00 and we didn't know where to go at this point. Thank you to Lori at Victory for salvaging our night and being so friendly and accommodating. The management at Yanos should be embarrassed. You shouldn't accept reservations that you can't handle, especially when you advertise yourself as a high-end establishment. Again, super disappointed and kind of sad that this was my daughter's exp

I visited this place and I really enjoyed being there. It's attached to the Hampton Inn Hotel, so it's convenient if staying there. The menu was extensive and full.of great options. The drinks menu were also plentiful. They had a nice variety to accommodate people of all ages. The entrees were eloquently put together and overall it was an amazing time. The servers were very experienced and filled with knowledge. The bartender was friendly and well balanced. I would recommend it in the future. The reason for 4 stars is that I feel that the table arrangement and overall layout of the dining area can be better arranged to provide a better flow, and more convenient overall arrangement.

What can I say about my favorite restaurant? I don't think I can say much without almost crying We adore Yono's. We make reservations for very special occasions. Anniversaries or Valentine's Day. (Book a few months in advance for Valentine's Day and request a corner booth) It takes about 3 hours and $400 for two people to get the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings. If you are okay with spending more than that, give her a ring π. She'll never forget it π©βπ³ππ₯ You can also order of the Grand Prix menu for smaller appetites (and wallets)

Tried their tasting menu. Pretty unacceptable for fine dining. Food too salty. Service extremely slow. The technicality was also subpar. Feels like we've been eating different foods than everyone else in the reviews. In fact, the plating does look a lot worse for us than others in the reviews.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here. As always, you are treated like royalty in their opulent dining room. Our appetizers of Bahkmi noodles and ricotta gnocchi were delicious, as were our entrΓ©es of duck and scallops. And bonus: Best gluten-free rolls I've ever had anywhere! π«π€Έπ« The service was extremely attentive and this place does food as well as they do hospitality, Yono's GETS it! π
